Volunteer working in a shanty town in Cordoba
Volunteering is about the power of young at spirit and committed people to enrich their own lives and those of the communities they are helping. COINED's Volunteer program has been created to provide these people with the tools and opportunities to live a meaningful volunteering experience.
COINED's Volunteer Work program is a way of getting a new outlook on the world with a focus on what is really meaningful, and through it, people from around the world can find the right place to volunteer. Our volunteers can participate in a wide variety of projects within community development, education, health care, and environment care fields in Argentina.
- Projects for every skill and background: the role volunteers play during their program will be based on their individual skills and interest, this is why COINED has worked to develop a wide range of volunteering fields which mainly include community development, education, health care, and environment care fields.
- Commitment towards the local communities: we believe in volunteering as a means of improvement and personal development and we are committed to ensuring the highest quality for both our volunteers and the local communities we work with, thus, we continuously promote a good and long lasting relationship with the local communities.
- Safety, support and guidance: at COINED we pay special care for the well being and safety of our volunteers, and thus, we provide pre-departure advice on health and safety issues, orientation talk on arrival, local support throughout the program, and access to comprehensive insurance specially tailored for the volunteering program.
- Adventure and personal growth: COINED's Volunteer Work program is a great opportunity for international volunteers to increase their social awareness, gain self-confidence, and build a sense of independence while, in turn, they help others.
- Formal recognition of the volunteer program: at the end of the program, all the volunteers receive a certificate from the host organization and a COINED certificate of having participated in international volunteering.
- After program follow up: the end of the volunteer program doesn't necessarily mean loosing contact, volunteers have the possibility of keeping in touch with the developments and progress of the projects they have been involved in through COINED.
